The large fitness area on deck 12 of the Spa opens from 6am to 10pm and offers a range of cardio equipment including treadmills (with sea views), elliptical and stationary bikes. It also has a selection of free weights and area for aerobic classes to take place. Some classes including Fab Abs and Body Sculpt Camp are complimentary whilst Yoga, Pilates and Spinning Classes cost $12 per class.

Guests will find the adult only (over 16’s) Solarium, located on deck 11. Decorated in a Thai theme with bronze tigers and an 18th Century Temple Bell, wooden deck chairs with chaise pads surround the pool. With cascading waterfalls and protected from inclement weather by the retractable glass roof, it’s the perfect place for a refreshing swim in the heated pool or relax in the whirlpool.

Served by the adjacent Solarium Bar and Cafe, the area is reserved exclusively for adults only (over 16’s).

The pool has a maximum depth of 1.74m (5ft 8”) and whilst the solarium is for over 16’s only, during inclement weather a number of family swim sessions may take place in the pool.

Jewel of the Seas has three whirlpools on board, one serving the covered Solarium and two serving the ships outdoor pool, all located on deck 11.

The two-level Spa and Fitness Centre is situated forward of decks 11 and 12 and offers a comprehensive range of equipment and services.

Operated by Steiner Leisure, the Day Spa is on the upper deck (12) and offers relaxing massages, facials, pedicures and manicures. Treatments on offer range from Microdermabrasion Oxygen Lifting Facials ($169), La Therapie Hydralift Facials and Elemis Aromapure Facials to GoSMILE Tooth Whitening Treatment (for $199), Elemis Aroma Stone Therapy, Swedish Massages, Reflexology, Body Wraps, Cellulite Reduction and Acupuncture.

Prices for an aroma spa ocean wrap massage are around $195, $159 for aroma stone therapy, $300 for Botox and $150 for an acupuncture session.

Open from 8am to 10pm the Spa also includes the ships Hair and Beauty Salon.

The Beauty Salon on deck 11 offers guests hair styling services, facials, manicures and pedicures along with other beauty treatments. It also has barber services for men.

The Thermal Suite within the spa on deck 11 includes a sauna, various styles of steam rooms and heated thermal chairs. It costs around $120for a cruise long pass or $20 for a daily pass, with a limited number of passes available.

A complimentary single sex sauna is located within the changing rooms in the spa on deck 11.
